Paul E. Hixenbaugh, 77, of Greensburg, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born January 10, 1935, in Brave, son of the late Dorsey “Dos” Hixenbaugh and Frances Cole Hixenbaugh.

Mr. Hixenbaugh was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who was a dedicated family man.

Prior to retiring, he was employed as a mechanic by Texas-Eastern.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria Jean Wilson Hixenbaugh; a brother, William M. Hixenbaugh; and a sister, Nellie Foley.

Surviving are his devoted children, Christina (Ronald) Ewing of Mt. Pleasant and Stephen Hixenbaugh of Greensburg; sisters Freda (Albert) Garrison of Apollo and Jo Laine (Glen) Phillips of Latrobe; a brother, James Hixenbaugh; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hixenbaugh will be especially missed by his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
