WCCC Greene County Center to hold Open House
Westmoreland County Community College will hold an open house Tuesday, May 15 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the WCCC Greene County Center in Waynesburg.
Designed for prospective students and their parents, the open house will provide information on WCCC’s 65 plus programs of study, financial aid and scholarships, admissions process, career placement services and tutoring.
Information will also be available on the Natural Gas Technology program and the Roustabout and Welder Helper ShaleNET classes that will be offered in the fall.
The college will accept applications for the fall 2012 semester. The $15 fee will be waived for those who complete the admissions application during the open house.
The Greene County Center, located at 100 EverGreene Drive, Waynesburg offers day and evening classes in career preparation and associate to bachelor’s degree transfer programs.
WCCC tuition is the best educational value among Pennsylvania colleges. Recently, WCCC was ranked 40th among the nation’s colleges with the lowest net pricing by the U.S. Department of Education.
