Recreation to host a ‘Breakfast with Santa’
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be the special guests at “Breakfast with Santa” from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1.
The event is sponsored by the Greene County Commissioners and the Department of Recreation. Additional sponsors include Baily Insurance Agency Inc., Community Bank, Milliken & Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc. and Rhodes & Hammers Printing Inc.
The breakfast starts at 9 a.m. on the lower level of the 4-H Building at the Greene County Fairgrounds. Admission is $8 per person and includes a pancake and sausage breakfast, a picture with Santa, Christmas crafts and special treats. Each child will also receive a special Santa’s helper hat.
A Christmas coloring contest will also be held, with prizes for winners in different age categories.
