Scholarship available for southwest Pa. law students
Currently enrolled law school students who have resided in Allegheny, Beaver, Fayette, Greene, Washington or Westmoreland counties for the last two years and have completed at least one semester in a Pennsylvania law school may be eligible for a Milton D. Rosenberg Scholarship.
The scholarship is a small, direct grant through the Trial Advocacy Foundation of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice. It is named after the late Washington County trial attorney who was a founder of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, Pennsylvania’s largest trial lawyer association.
Applicants must demonstrate high academic achievement, financial need, and supply a letter of recommendation from a law school professor and a personal reference. The application deadline is April 1, 2013. The Trial Advocacy Foundation of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice will review the submissions and determine the winner or winners.
