Area pastor graduates from United Christian Bible Institute

Rev. Daniel R. Festog, 40, graduated from United Christian Bible Institute of Tennessee during a ceremony on July 6.

The institute was chartered by United Christian Church & Ministerial Association in 1981.

Festog graduated in the top 10 percent of his class. He is ranked number 14 out of 144 graduating students.

The ceremony included foreign ambassadors from China, the Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, India, Kenya, Nigeria and Sierra Leone. Diplomas were handed out by UCCMA Vice President Mike Shreve. The opening prayer was conducted by Pastor Greg Casto, and the commencement speech was presented by Parnell Townley.

Festog is the son of Robert and Doris Festog of Uniontown. He resides in Bobtown with his wife, Michelle, and their son, Nathan.
