Eleanor M. Varesko, 71, of Mather, died Saturday, September 1, 2012, in her home.

Mrs. Varesko was born June 8, 1941, in Uniontown, daughter of the late Stephen and Catherine Urban Vance.

She was a 1959 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School.

Mrs. Varesko was a member of St. Marcellus Church in Jefferson, where she taught CCD classes for several years.

Surviving are two daughters, Anne and Karen Turner of Mather; two sons, Teddy Turner Jr. of Mather and Steve Turner (Crista) of Waynesburg; three grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Farkosh of Cleveland, Ohio, and Diane Shotter (Andrew) of Carmichaels; a brother, Steve Vance of Dry Tavern; and three stepchildren, Roxanne Gasti (Chuck), Bill (Bugger) Varesko and Gary Varesko (Joyce).

Deceased are her husbands, Ted Turner Sr. and William Varesko, and sister Dolores Brice.
