Workshop on interpreting water test results to be held in October

Penn State Extension will hold a workshop titled “Water Test Result Interpretation” on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at the Center in the Woods, located at 130 Woodland Court in Brownsville, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Participants will learn how to understand water test reports, as well as drinking water standards, chain-of-custody, various water test parameters, and comparing test results with standards.

Dana Rizzo and Susan Boser, water resource educators with Penn State Extension, will discuss the management of private water supplies and interpretation of test reports

There is no registration fee, but pre-registration is required by Oct. 22, and is limited to 50 participants. Register online at http://agsci.psu.edu/water-test-results/brownsville.
