Blair T. Beglin
Blair T. Beglin, 86, of Waynesburg, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012, in Golden Living Center, Waynesburg.
He was born November 21, 1925, in Marianna, a son of the late George and Ruth Bigler Beglin.
On March 26, 1948, he married Margaret Bailey Beglin, who survives.
Mr. Beglin was a retired businessman and farmer. He owned and operated a feed store in Clarksville and a butcher shop. He also operated a poultry farm and raised beef cattle.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific.
Mr. Beglin was a former resident of the Clarksville area, where he was a member of Clarksville Christian Church. He moved to Waynesburg in 1990.
He was a member of American Legion Post 330 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4793 in Waynesburg. He also was a member of Mt. Jewett Sportsman’s Club in McKean County.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Kathy Larson of Omaha, NE; a son, Tom Beglin of Mt. Jewett; five grandsons; two granddaughters; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; two brothers; and a sister.
