Lions Club selects students of the month for March
The Waynesburg Lions Club recently selected two Waynesburg Central High School seniors, Hogan Barnhart and Jenna Bohach, as the club’s students of the month for March.
Barnhart, son of Kevin and Beth Barnhart of Waynesburg, maintains a 3.87 grade-point average.
He is president of the Library Service Club and member of the lettermen’s club, Spanish club and PennServe and plays soccer. He also is a youth soccer coach.
Barnhart is a volunteer with the Waynesburg/Franklin Township Fire Department and has volunteered at Southwest Regional Medical Center. He is a day camp counselor at Lions Club Park.
He plans to attend a university and major in environmental engineering.
Bohach, daughter of Robert and Carole Bohach of Waynesburg, maintains a 3.95 grade-point average.
She is a member of National Honor Society, Alpha, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Youth Alive, Spanish club, student council, ski club and varsity club.
She is a four-year letterman in soccer, three-year letterman in track, two-year letterman in basketball and was selected to the All-Tournament team of the 2012 South Fayette soccer tournament.
Bohach attends Oak View United Methodist Church, is a member of Crossroads Youth Ministries and plays club soccer in Morgantown, W.Va.
She plans to attend a college or university to become an occupational therapist.
