Patricia A. Chytil, 78, of Mather, formerly of Canonsburg, died Sunday, December 1, 2013, in Evergreen Assisted Living Center, Washington.

She was born March 17, 1935, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Charles and Edna Pugh Taylor.

Mrs. Chytil was a 1953 graduate of Canonsburg High School.

She had worked as a secretary at the former Kmet Tool Co. in Canonsburg.

Mrs. Chytil was a member of South Canonsburg Church.

Piano playing was one of her true joys. She played for her church, as well as for the Four Coins singing group. She also enjoyed crocheting.

On October 6, 1973, she married Frank Chytil, who died September 11, 2009.

Surviving are a son, Clifford “Ed” Marshall (Sherry) of Washington; a grandson, Brad Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are three brothers, Herbert, Harold and Eugene Taylor and a sister Francis Horne.

Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Tuesday, December 3, in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K.
