Applications available for “Little Miss Firecracker” Pageant
The Waynesburg Lions Club will hold the “Little Miss Firecracker” Pageant for girls between the ages of 5 to 8.
The pageant will take place on the main stage at the Greene County Fairgrounds on July 4 during the annual Lions Club July 4 celebration.
The contestants will appear in patriotic sportswear and be interviewed on stage.
The pageant is non-competitive. All contestants will draw wrapped flowers from a basket, and the odd-colored flower will determine the new queen. The winner will receive a crown, sash, trophy and savings bond. Each contestant will receive a participation award.
Applications are now available. The deadline for the application to be turned in will be June 21.
