Gloria Faye Townsend Zuzik Hart
Gloria Faye Townsend Zuzik Hart, 83, of Carmichaels, died Sunday, June 2, 2013, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born February 3, 1930, in Palmer, a daughter of the late Edwin Ray and Jessie Marie Lewis Townsend.
Surviving are her husband, Charles William (Bill) Hart; two daughters, Karen Sue Zuzik Bradmon (Charles) of Carmichaels and Joyce Arlene Zuzik Drew (Gary) of Greensboro; a stepson, John A. Hart (Kelli) of Waynesburg; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a brother, Kenneth R. Townsend (Janice), and a sister, Janice A.McMinn (Paul), both of Carmichaels.
Deceased are her first husband, Michael Edward Zuzik, who died in 1972, and two sisters, Myrtle M. Townsend and Audrey A. Lazuka.
Mrs. Hart was a graduate of German Township High School in 1948.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Carmichaels and Perryopolis, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choirs. She also was a member of Order of Eastern Star in Masontown.
Mrs. Hart sang in a quartet in her youth and assisted the Gracemen Gospel Group with their bookings.
