Salvation Army outing on Saturday
The Greene County Salvation Army will host its 3rd annual golf outing Saturday at Carmichaels Golf Club, located at 471 Harts Road in Carmichaels, Pa. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
The event format is a 4-person scramble with an entry fee of $260 per team. Cost includes 18 holes of golf, cart, hotdogs and beverages on the turn and a sit-down lunch following the event. Registration is still open and sponsorship opportunities are still available.
Prizes will be awarded to first and second-place tournament winners, as well as skill prizes, silent auction, 50/50 drawing, Chinese auction and hole-in-one prizes.

The Greene County Salvation Army offers a variety of services from its warehouse located at 131 W. First Street in Waynesburg. Free clothing, coupon exchange, free camps for children, disaster services and emergency utility and rent assistance, are among the many services offered.
