Betty L. Beatty, age 71, Waynesburg, formerly of Carmichaels, died Oct. 16, 2013 in Golden Living Center, Waynesburg.

Miss Beatty was born August 11, 1942 in Fairchance, the daughter of the late Charles and Leona Guthrie Beatty.

Betty is survived by a brother Charles Beatty and wife, Louisa, Massillon, Ohio, and 3 sisters, Charlotte White and husband, Albert, Clarksville, Geraldine Howard, and husband, Richard, Ocean View, Delaware, and Leona Joyce Olesko, and husband, Andrew, Republic. Many nieces and nephews survive, and all her friends and the staff at Golden Living Center she considered her family.

Miss Beatty was a Baptist.

Friends and family will be received in the Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, 15320, Paul M. Lesako Funeral Director/Supervisor, on Friday, October 18, 2013, from 10 to 11 a.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m.
