Mary Y. Nyerges
Mary Y. Nyerges, 89, of Warrenton, VA, formerly of Mt. Morris, died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at home.
She was born Friday, January 25, 1924 in Cassville, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Andy Yaromey and Eva (Stecyk) Yaromey.
Mrs. Nyerges was Catholic by faith. She had served as Special Education Aid in Maryland and was a Homemaker.
Her husband, Vince M. Nyerges, whom she had married on April 15, 1961 died July 7, 2006.
Surviving are one daughter, Christina and Randy Suhrie of Warrenton, Virginia; one granddaughter, Grace Suhrie of Warrenton, Virginia; three sisters, Ann Molina of Flint, Michigan, Rose Steele of Cleveland, Ohio and Charlotte Bennett of Morgantown, West Virginia and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are five brothers, John Roman, Charles Yaromey, Nick Roman, Henry Yaromey and Alec Yaromey.
Friends will be received from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2013 in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director, 324 Mt. Morris Road, Mount Morris, where services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris.
