Scholarship available for local law students
Currently enrolled law school students who have resided in Greene, Fayette or Washington counties for the last two years and have completed at least one semester in a Pennsylvania law school may be eligible for a Milton D. Rosenberg Scholarship.
The scholarship is a small, direct grant through the Trial Advocacy Foundation of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.
It is named after the late and revered Washington County trial attorney who was a founder of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, Pennsylvania’s largest trial lawyer association.
Applicants must demonstrate high academic achievement, financial need, and supply a letter of recommendation from a law school professor and a personal reference.
The application deadline is April 1, 2014.
The Trial Advocacy Foundation of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice will review the submissions and determine the winner or winners.
Interested parties may obtain applications and more information from Craig Giangiulio, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, by calling 215-546-6451, ext. 106, or by emailing craig@pajustice.org.
