PennDOT announces water dam road bridge replacement
PennDOT District 12 is advising motorists that Water Dam Road (Route 4035) in Franklin Township will be closed between Route 18 and Garner Run Road (Route 4033).
The closure will begin Monday, April 28 at 7 a.m. and will continue through July 18.
The closure will be in place in order to allow crews to replace the existing bridge with a pre-cast box culvert.
A marked detour will be in place using Route 18, Route 4033 and Route 4035.
The contractor performing the work is Allison Park Contracting in Allison Park, Pa. at an estimated cost of $280,000.
