Norma J. Keener Houston

Norma J. Keener Houston, 81 of Fredericktown, (Centerville Borough) died Monday, December 1, 2014 in her home.
She was born March 31, 1933 in Core, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Merrill and Aileen Garrison Keener.
Mrs. Houston was a 1951 graduate of Center Township High School, Rogersville. After 17 years of service, she retired as a teller for the Gallatin Bank, later National City Bank in their Richeyville Office. She was a faithful 63 year member of the Centerville United Methodist Church and was active with the United Methodist Women of the Church. Mrs. Houston was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hancock-McCune-Horne American Legion Post #705, Centerville.
Spending time with her family and being active in all church events brought her much enjoyment.
On June 9, 1951 she married Robert D. Houston who survives. They celebrated 63 years of marriage.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a grandson, Bryan A. Rohrer (Danielle) of Daisytown; one great granddaughter, Addison Rohrer; two nephews, Robert Davis of Colorado and Del Daugherty of Moon Township; two nieces, Kris Livingston of California and Diane Hoy of Virginia and son-in-law, John A. Rohrer (Holly) of Centerville.
Deceased in addition to her parents is a daughter Roberta J. Rohrer who died November 6, 2008 and one sister, Ruth Ann Davis.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, PA where services will be held Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dawn Hargraves officiating. Interment will follow in Greene Co. Memorial Park, Waynesburg, PA.
