Driver injured
State police said Andrew A. Hefner, 23, of Morgantown, W.Va., sustained minor injuries when his vehicle hit a bridge railing on Interstate 79 in Franklin Twp. at 6:25 a.m. Dec. 2.
Bad check reported
Southwest Regional Police reported that a white female, approximately 5-foot 8-inches tall with dark color hair, a thin build and possibly in her early to mid-20s used a check declined by the bank to pay for $50 worth of fuel at 9:18 p.m. Nov. 29 from the BFS/Sunoco on Gas Company Road in Perry Twp. Items stolen
State police said sometime between Dec. 12 and Dec. 13 someone forced open the wooden garage door at Winona Canter’s residence on Bunner Hill Road in Dunkard Twp. and entered the garage. Canter police she believes that a small riding lawn mower tire and several miscellaneous tools were stolen.
Theft reported
State police said sometime on Dec. 12 someone stole a 2014 Polaris 900 Ranger and several miscellaneous construction tools belonging to Spectra Energy of Wind Ridge were stolen from a location on Poland Run Road in Richhill Twp.
Purse stolen
State police said sometime between 7:30 p.m. Dec. 11 and 7:30 a.m. Dec. 12 someone stole a purse from a vehicle that was parked on South Pine St. in Carmichaels Borough.
