Lady Maples down West Greene, 32-19

The Mapletown girls broke open a close game with a 10-2 advantage in the second quarter as the Lady Maples defeated West Greene, 32-19, Tuesday night in the consolation game of the Bentworth Holiday Tournament.

The Lady Maples (3-6) led 6-3 after the first quarter and extended their lead to 16-5 at halftime. Mapletown increased its lead to 25-11 after three quarters.

Hannah Dingle led Mapletown with nine points. Rachel Buchtan grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.

Sarah Courtwright scored 10 points for the Lady Pioneers (0-11) and made the all-tournament team.
