Window broken

State police said Mark Brown reported that someone broke the window glass of a rear entry door at 107 Sharpnack Hollow Road in Jefferson sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Feb. 5.

Theft reported

State police said sometime between 5 p.m. Feb. 3 and 9 a.m. Feb. 4 someone stole two power cords from a location on Jefferson Road in Jefferson Twp.

Report issued

State police in Waynesburg said they fielded 1,314 incidents in January, including 96 reports of criminal offenses resulting in 38 criminal arrests. Police said troopers investigated 64 traffic accidents, including six hit-and-run crashes, and made seven arrests for drunken driving. Additionally, police said they issued 232 traffic citations during the month as well as 60 written warnings.

Crash reported

State police said no one was injured when vehicles driven by Daniel S. Downie, 21, of Waynesburg and Amber N. Burkett, 35, of Jefferson collided on Roy Furman Highway near Jensen Hollow Road in Jefferson Twp. at 5:29 p.m. Feb. 5.

Heater stolen

State police said a torpedo heater, a grinder and other equipment were stolen sometime between 11 p.m. Feb. 5 and 5 a.m. Feb. 6 from the back of a truck owned by Colter Osborn of Wentworth, Mo., while it was parked in the Hardee’s restaurant parking lot in Franklin Twp.

Man charged

State police said Isaac Christopher Stewart, 29, of Wind Ridge was charged with criminal mischief after he allegedly scratched the paint on 2011 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer belonging to Sandy Mackey of Cameron, W.Va., while it was parked on McCracken Road in Richhill Twp. at 3:15 p.m. Feb. 7.
