VENDOR PARTY – A Vendor Party will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rogersville Fire Hall. Admission is $5 and includes five Chinese Auction tickets and refreshments. BENEFIT DINNER – The Sparx Relay for Life team from Walmart will be holding a spaghetti dinner at the Greene County Fairgrounds on Feb. 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Price is $7 for adults and $4 for children.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – The Bowlby Public Library is offering a session on domestic violence this month. Cheryl McCready from Domestic Violence Services of SW Pennsylvania will be at the library on Wednesday, Feb. 26 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. to speak on bullying awareness and prevention for youngsters ages 7-12 years. FREE DINNER – A community dinner will be held at Rogersville United Methodist Church (Social Hall) on Friday, Feb. 28 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The meal will include meatloaf, parsley potatoes, peas, applesauce, roll, dessert and drink. BUS TRIP – Waynesburg Senior Travelers still has seats available on the bus trip to Mackinac Island June 15-21. Price is $685 per person, double occupancy. Price includes 10 meals (six breakfasts and four dinners), bus drivers tip, travel insurance and other tips for step-on guides. Must have reservations in by March 15. PAINT N’ SIP – Thistlethwaite Vineyards is hosting their first Paint n’ Sip Party on Sunday, March 2. Painting and wine tasting will begin at 2 p.m. in the Vine Room. Doors will open at 1 p.m. Admission will be $45 per person, and includes painting, wine tasting, one glass of wine and cheese and crackers. Reservations are required. ZUMBA CLASSES – The Greene County Department of Recreation is offering morning sessions of the popular fitness program Zumba from 9 to 10 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday through Feb. 28 in the 4-H Building at the Greene County Fairgrounds in Waynesburg.
