Jesse Dias
Jesse Dias, 37, of Greensboro, died unexpectedly at 10:25 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at his home.
He was born September 28, 1976 in Waynesburg, a son of Joseph C. and Cynthia L. (Lemmon) Dias. Jesse attended Central Greene Vocational Training School and was a 1997 graduate of Southeastern Greene School District. On October 7, 1997, he began working in the recycling center at Greene ARC where he performed numerous tasks. Jesse enjoyed his camaraderie at work and was an avid wrestling fan. He liked rock music and his favorite band was KISS. Jesse was accomplished at playing video games and liked to dance and to vacation with his family, especially at amusement parks and at Disney. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family. For many years, Jesse participated as a bowler in the Special Olympics.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Jay C. Dias and his wife, Kerstin, of Boardman, Ohio; his maternal grandmother, Thelma M. Lemmon of Uniontown, Pa. and an uncle, Ronald C. Lemmon. Deceased are his maternal grandfather, Charles E. Lemmon and his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Christine Dias.
Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, (724-966-5500), 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels, PA 15320 where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014. The Rev. Keith G. Hornung will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Greene Arc, Inc., 197 Dunn Station Road, Prosperity, PA 15329.
