Kathryn I. Redman
Kathryn I. Redman, 78, of Jefferson, died Sunday, July 20, 2014, in her home.
She was born September 3, 1935, in Washington, a daughter of the late Guy M. and Veronica Kathryn Powers Kelley.
Mrs. Redman was a homemaker and worked several years ago at Pochron’s store and service station. She also cleaned homes in the Dry Tavern, Waynesburg, Centerville and Marianna areas.
She was a member of Jefferson United Methodist Church.
In 1967, she married David T. Redman, who survives.
Also surviving are six children, Glenn E. Adamson Jr. and wife Kay of Graysville, William H. Adamson of Lippencott, Patricia L. Adamson of Greensboro, Randy M. Adamson and wife Stephanie of Bentleyville, Thornton D. “Buddy” Adamson and wife Amy of Hagerstown, Md., and Devina L. “Dolly” Adamson of Jefferson; three stepchildren, Robert Redman and David Redman, both of Connecticut, and Deborah Redman of Rhode Island; 14 grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are daughter Belinda Adamson; a stepson, Alan Ray Redman; two sisters, Bonnie Crouse and Shirley Hopper; and three brothers, Oliver Kelley, Merle Kelley and Paul “Jack” Kelley.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 24, in Jefferson United Methodist Church, 190 Washington Street, Jefferson, PA 15344, with the Rev. Richard E. Bowser officiating.
