Michael L. Camacci passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014.

He was born at home in Mather, Saturday, August 3, 1929.

Michael attended elementary school in Mather and high school in Jefferson where he excelled in sports and earned scholarships to Waynesburg College where he was a leader in basketball.

Michael joined the military and fought in the Korean War until 1954.

He then moved to Michigan, became a teacher, met and married Patricia (Haire) Camacci in 1955.

They have six children: son Michael Paul Camacci; daughter Michele Goree; daughter Diane Camacci, son James Camacci, son Scott Camacci, and daughter Julia Camacci.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso Camacci and Julia (Kokish) Camacci; and by his brother, Anthony Camacci married to Rachel Camacci, who survives.

Michael is survived by his sister, Lucille Hranec who is married to John Hranec; and his sister, Rose Nesto who is married to George Nesto.

Michael had many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nephews and nieces who will cherish his memory.
