Woman cited after allegedly fleeing crash

A Waynesburg woman faces hit-and-run and several other citations after she allegedly ran her car into the porch of a home in Jefferson Township and then fled the scene.

Tammy L. Rohulich, 39, was also cited for accidents involving damage to property, careless driving, roadways laned for traffic, driving at an unsafe speed and driving with suspended or revoked operating privileges.

State police alleged that she was driving on South Pine Street at a high rate of speed, when she lost control of her car. Rohulich’s car traveled off the road, and hit the front of a porch. Police did not identify the owner of the home.

Authorities alleged that Rohulich fled the scene in her car, and was later found in a home in Lippincott. Police said she was uninjured.

The citations are filed before Magisterial District Judge Glenn Bates.
