William Lawrence “Larry” Knight
William Lawrence “Larry” Knight, 84, of Mission, Texas, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014.
He was born July 25, 1929, in Rutan, Greene County, a son of the late William Howard and Alice Tharp Knight.
He was a retired business telecommunications systems engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Faust Knight; a daughter, Kimberly Knight of Hemet, Calif.; a son, Karl Knight of China Hills, Calif.; stepchildren Linda Magnussen of Albany, Wis., Jennifer Rowley of Ferona, Wis., and Randy Thompson of Cottage Grove, Wis.; a sister, Vivian Irene Eakin of Waynesburg; a brother, Donald Walter Knight of San Antonio, Texas; two grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren.
Deceased is his sister, Bernice Peterhoff of Magadore, Ohio.
Private arrangements are being handled by Bentsen Grove Baptist Church in Mission, Texas, where he was a member. Mr. Knight will be interred in Claylick Cemetery, Greene County.
