D. Vincent Shultz

D. Vincent Shultz, age 57, of Waynesburg, passed unexpectedly in his sleep Thursday, November 13, 2014 in his home.
He was born July 11, 1957 in Waynesburg a son of the late Donald W. and Judith Kridle Shultz.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Hill Shultz, whom he married May 19, 1984.
He was the loving father of Rachael Shultz of Waynesburg, Valerie Shultz of Nashville, Tennessee and Dr. Caroline Shultz of Nashville; also surviving are a granddaughter, Kimberly Rishell of Waynesburg; two sisters, Audrey Dorman (Peter) of Virginia and Cathy Whitmer (Jamie) of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Shultz was a graduate of Waynesburg Central High School. He worked as an outside electrician at Cumberland Mine in Kirby.
He loved the Pens and Pirates. He enjoyed listening to music; his guitars; and his German heritage. He always said that his greatest accomplishment in life was his girls.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2014 with Mike Hasselbring, minister officiating. Interment will follow in Claughton Chapel Cemetery in Whiteley Township.
