Myrle M. Williamson Giles Loveday

Myrle M. Williamson Giles Loveday, 91, of Waynesburg, died at 12:42 a.m. Sunday, November 23, 2014, in the Golden Living Center in Waynesburg.
She was born Saturday, January 27, 1923 in Middlesboro, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Henry Dave Williamson and Retta Ausmus Williamson.
Mrs. Loveday was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waynesburg for over 30 years. She was a member of the Methodist Women of Carmichaels, and the Civic Club of Carmichaels. She was also a member of the Golden Living Peer Group, President of the Resident Council, and the Red Hat Society. Her greatest love was to serve the Lord which she did with all of her heart. At Golden Living she started daily devotions and offered prayer visits to the residents. Mrs. Loveday did church services for the residents often referring to herself as a lay minister. She was a gracious and sweet lady who was loved by all who knew her. She especially loved spending time with her family and was a homemaker.
Her first husband, Laford S. Giles, whom she married in April of 1942, is deceased. Her second husband, Charles Jackson Loveday whom she married November 9, 1950 died July 23, 1981.
She was the beloved mother of one daughter, Beth E. (David) Whipkey, of Waynesburg; three sons, Henry S. (Karen) Giles, of Hiller, Charles J. (Debbie)Loveday, Jr., Harrogate, Tennessee and Randy W. (Debbie) Loveday, Waynesburg; one son-In-law, Charles Sweitzer of Mt. Pleasant; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; one sister, Bobbie Jean Cook, of Middlesboro, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are one daughter, Joyce Ann Sweitzer; three sisters, Jeanette Williamson, Bennie Mae Harris, and Retta E. Walker; six brothers, H.D., Harry, Ray, Harvey, Mickey, and James Williamson.
Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner/Director, 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370, where services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 with Pastor Gary Grau and Pastor Jack Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Greene Co. Memorial Park, of Morgan Twp., Greene Co.
