Louise “Frances” Phillips, 90, of Washington, died Monday, November 24, 2014, in her home.

She was born August 9, 1924, in Rogersville, a daughter of Walter Scott and Blanche White Scott.

Mrs. Phillips worked as an auditor for Sears. She was a member of Fairhill Manor Church, Washington. Mrs. Phillips belonged to a card club and a financial club. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her grandchildren.

On November 1, 1942, she married Conrad K. Phillips, who died April 28, 1984.

Surviving are a daughter, Cathy (Ron) Plants of Washington; two grandchildren, James Plants and Amy Plants-Redd, both of Washington; and two great-grandchildren, Emily Plants and J.R. Redd.

Deceased are a son, Larry K. Phillips, and a brother, Reed Scott.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 1. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Rogersville.
