The 16th Crucible Volunteer Fire Department Doll Baby Pageant was held on Saturday, Oct. 18 in the fire department social hall, directed by Nikki Albert of Carmichaels.

The Crucible Supreme title was won by six-year-old Breona Reda, daughter of Karie Balash and Jeremy Reda of Masontown. She had the highest combined beauty and photogenic scores. She was crowned by 2013 Young Miss Crucible Supreme Baylee Wydo and 2013 Mister Crucible Supreme Jonny Grippe.

In the Tiny Miss age division (1 to 4 years old), Ava Mattei, four-year-old daughter of Justin Mattei and granddaughter of Mitzi Tennant of Carmichaels, won the Tiny Miss Crucible title and 1st Alternate in photogenic; Alivia Fenton, 19-month-old daughter of Nicole and Donald Fenton of Carmichaels won the Tiny Miss Crucible Photogenic title and an honorable mention in beauty; Emma Ritenour, three-year-old daughter of Sabrina Brown and Cecil Ritenour of Nemacolin, won 1st Alternate in beauty; Elliana Revi, four-year-old daughter of Jodi and David Revi of Clarksville, won 2nd Alternate in beauty; Shyann Tennant, four-year-old daughter of Carrie and Chris Tennant of Fairview, W.Va., won 2nd Alternate in photogenic and an honorable mention in beauty; and Gabriella Grippe, 17-month-old daughter of Carrie and Jon Grippe of Uniontown, won an honorable mention in beauty.

In the Little Miss age division (5 to 7 years old), Ella Menear, five-year-old daughter of Erika and Brian Menear of Bobtown, won the Little Miss Crucible title; Nevaeh Loriston, five-year-old daughter of Kristian and Simon Loriston of Carmichaels, won the Little Miss Crucible Photogenic title and 2nd Alternate in beauty; Jeana Sullenberger, six-year-old daughter of Bonnie Phillips and Bobby Sullenbergar of Brave, won 1st Alternate in beauty and 2nd Alternate in photogenic; Anastacialisa Hartley, seven-year-old daughter of Alexislisa Redmond of Deemston, won 1st Alternate in photogenic and an honorable mention in beauty; and Carman Stiles, five-year-old daughter of Shawn and Stephen Stiles of Carmichaels, won an honorable mention in beauty.

In the Petite Miss age division (9 to 12 years old), Leila Lilley, nine-year-old daughter of Jessica and Ryan Outcalt of Carmichaels, won the Petite Miss Crucible title and 1st Alternate in photogenic; Mahailea Traynor, nine-year-old daughter of Dana Martelli of Carmichaels, won the Petite Miss Crucible Photogenic title and 2nd Alternate in beauty; and Alexa Neely, 12-year-old daughter of Rebecca and Lance Neely of Carmichaels, won 1st Alternate in beauty and 2nd Alternate in photogenic.

A number of special awards were also presented. The Crucible Covermodel title was won by Emma Ritenour; Crucible Princess titles were won by Shyann Tennant, Elliana Revi, Jeana Sullenberger, Carman Stiles, Nevaeh Loriston and Ella Menear; the Crucible Sweetheart title was won by Shyann Tennant; and the Crucible Birthday Princess title was received by Ella Menear.

Helpers included: Sandy Bruce, Kayla Panepinto, Kloee Connelly and Kenna Hixenbaugh; and 2013 Royalty, Baylee Wydo, Jonny Grippe, Justice Grippe, Roman Grippe, Ellie Wise, Ke’Lani Chun, Ra’yliea Silbaugh, and Jaxson Connelly.

The pageant organizers thanked Marjorie Fox for her sponsorship on the pageant’s T-shirts.
