Delores Mefford
Delores Mefford, 70, of Waynesburg, died Wednesday, September 10, 2014, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia.
She was born September 6, 1944, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late John Laskody and Anna Barbara Spisak Laskody.
Mrs. Mefford was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Wayne Mefford; a son, Joseph Mefford of Lake Park. Georgia; three daughters, Kimberly Spitznogle and Judy Spitznogle, both of Waynesburg, and Karen Spitznogle of Mt. Morris; a brother, Tom Laskody of Waynesburg; four sisters, Pauline Bowden of Morgantown, Betty Adams of Willowick, Ohio, Margie VanMeter of Bobtown and Judy Jaggie of Bobtown; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are a son, Edward Mefford; a grandson, Eddy Spitznogle; and three brothers, Paul Laskody, Edward Laskody and John Laskody.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason Dixon Highway, Blacksville, W.Va., where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 13, with Pastor Jake Judy officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris.
