Flo V. Nyswaner
Flo V. Nyswaner, 72, of Clarksville, Pitt Gas, died Thursday, September 11, 2014, in UPMC-Montefiore hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born July 28, 1942, in New Salem, a daughter of the late Averill and Flo Davis Whetzel.
Mrs. Nyswaner was a 1960 graduate of Redstone High School.
She was employed by McGregor Sportswear in Republic, until its closing, and was most recently employed as a substitute custodian for Jefferson-Morgan High School.
Mrs. Nyswaner enjoyed reading, baking and her family.
On March 24, 1973, she married G. William “Bill” Nyswaner, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Marla Tallis (Richard) of Butler and Monica Phillips (Robert) of Carmichaels; four grandchildren, David, Autumn and Austin Phillips and Emily Tallis; a sister, Dorothy Schnitzofer of Penn Hills; five brothers, Pete Whetzel (Judy) of Warren, Ohio, Raymond Whetzel of Cortland, Ohio, Eugene Whetzel of Columbus, Ohio, Rick Whetzel of California and William Whetzel (Carol) of Republic; and two sisters-in-law, Elsie Whetzel of Ohio and Carol Whetzel of Delaware.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are two brothers, Robert and Kenneth Whetzel.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, September 15, in Churchhill Cemetery, McClellandtown. Those attending may go directly to the cemetery or gather at 11:45 a.m. in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, to proceed to the cemetery.
