Lady Mikes breeze to 11-4 over Beth-Center

Carmichaels trailed 4-0 after the first inning, but scored eight runs over the next three innings Monday afternoon as the Lady Mikes defeated Beth-Center, 11-4, for a Section 2-AA road victory.

The Lady Mikes (4-0) added a single run in the top of the sixth and two more in the seventh.

The Lady Bulldogs (1-3, 1-3) loaded the bases in the bottom of the seventh, but Burns closed down the threat to preserve the win.

Burns and Katie Mays both had a double and single for the Lady Mikes. Lauren Walker also doubled, and Emma Lowery had two singles.

Londyn Brown had an RBI double in the first inning and Ally Trippy added a two-run double in the inning.

Beth-Center hosts McGuffey this afternoon.
