Alma Mae (Stickles) Hisenbaugh, age 81, of Carmichaels died April 13, 2015 in her home.

Mrs. Hixenbaugh was born January 22, 1934 in Waynesburg, the daughter of the late Charles and Ida Pearl Murphy Stickles.

She was married to the late George Raymond Hixenbaugh.

Mrs. Hixenbaugh was a stay at home mother, the beloved matriarch of her family.

She was a member of the Church of God in Waynesburg, and enjoyed helping out at her church.

Mrs. Hixenbaugh is survived by two sons, Dennis R. Hixenbaugh (Susan), Emporia, Virginia, John L. Hixenbaugh, Carmichaels; two grandsons, Chad Hixenbaugh, Crucible, Brandon (Cissie) Hixenbaugh, Carmichaels; three granddaughters, Tracy (Roy) Smith, North Carolina, Linda Renee (Greg), Wray, Virginia, Crystal (Andy) Andrenok, Carmichaels; 12 great grandchildren, Justin, Serena, Alek, Nathan, Jake, Jeremy, Micheala, Cody, Hailie, Chesney, Zander, Evan; one great-granddaughter, Alexis and two sisters, Rose Franks (Rick) and Alennia (George) Davis, both of Carmichaels.

Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are two brothers, John H. and James Donald Stickles, a sister, Mary Thelma Stickles Hixenbaugh Temple, daughter and son-in-law, Diane R. and Dave McMasters and daughter-in-law, Dottie Hixenbaugh.

Friends will be received in the Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Pa. 15320 (724-966-5100), Paul M. Lesako Funeral Director/Supervisor on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. A Funeral Service will begin at 4:00 p.m. with the Reverend Rick Berkey, officiating.
