Katheryn Jurczak

Katheryn Jurczak, 92, of Masontown, and formerly of Nemacolin, died at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at her home.
She was born September 27, 1922 in German Township, Fayette County, a daughter of the late Michael and Anastasia Powelko.
On February 15, 1947, she married Joseph Jurczak, who died October 25, 2003.
Surviving are two sons, Joseph Jurczak and his wife, Patricia, of Davidsonville, Maryland and John Jurczak and his wife, Josette, of Severna Park, Maryland; two daughters, Loretta Hamilla and her husband, Richard, of Masontown and Joanne Jurczak, with whom she made her home in Masontown; seven grandchildren, Joseph Michael Jurczak, James Jurczak, Thomas Jurczak, Alexa Jurczak, Michael J. Jurczak, Daniel Hamilla and Natalie Hamilla; two great grandchildren, Brittany and Joseph; a brother, John Pavelko, of New York, New York and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Mike Powelko and three sisters, Mary Frederick, Anna Burich and Stella Macaner.
All arrangements are private and under the direction of the Yoskovich Funeral Home (724-966-5500), Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels. Private interment will take place at Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army.
