Falcons outlast Waynesburg, 95-92

Waynesburg Central rallied to force overtime, but Brownsville carried the play in the extra period Friday night for a hard-fought 95-92 Section 4-AA road victory.

Brownsville (1-0, 4-0) outscored Waynesburg in the overtime period, 12-9. The Raiders (0-1, 2-2) made up a three-point deficit in the final eight minutes to force overtime.

The Raiders led 21-15 after the first quarter, but Brownsville held the halftime lead, 39-38. The Falcons pushed their lead to three with a 26-24 advantage in the third quarter.

Noah Brown led Brownsville with 39 points. Shardow Marshall finished with 22 and James Holcomb added 12.

Darton McIntyre poured in a game-high 47 points for the Raiders. Mitch Warman scored 16 and Ronnie Howard added 12.
