Waynesburg Central pulled away in the middle two quarters Tuesday night for a 64-52 Section 4-AA victory at Bentworth.

The Raiders (1-2, 3-3) led 17-15 after the first quarter and extended their lead to 34-25 at halftime. They led 52-31 after three quarters and then held off a fourth-quarter rally by the Bearcats.

Mitch Warman scored a game-high 24 points for the Raiders. Darton McIntyre finished with 12 and Ronnie Howard added 10.

Nick Silver led Bentworth (0-2, 2-3) with 17 points.
