Frances Ethel (Farrier) Lilley

3 min read

Frances Ethel (Farrier) Lilley, was born in Waynesburg, on Tuesday July 26th, 1938. She entered heaven’s gates on Saturday, December 19th, 2015.

An amazing mother and homemaker, Frances was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for family — every family member had to be present and around the table. She loved God and she worshiped Him daily in her devotionals, music, and deeds. Everyone who met her received a kind word, hug, and a sweet smile. She has left a legacy of love and kindness. This earth is a much better place because she truly had a heart of servitude and taught anyone who met her how to be a faithful servant to God.

Her legacy will live on through her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Frances started out her purpose taking care of her siblings when her mom passed, then serving as a Nurse’s Aide in the Surgical Wing at the Uniontown Hospital. She went on to the Pediatric Wing because she had a special place in her heart for children.

Frances was actually taking care of her husband’s baby sister on that wing when she told everyone she was going to marry that man, which she did, waking him with coffee at his bedside every morning.

She was God’s blessing to her husband as she took care of him and four wonderful children.

Frances was a member of the Masontown Brethren Church and made a joyful noise unto the Lord in the choir. Frances would do anything for anyone. She was a special angel
