The Waynesburg Area Chamber of Commerce has announced broadcast dates for the 2015 Downtown Waynesburg Christmas Parade.

The execution of the parade was underwritten by FirstEnergy Foundation.

The parade will be shown on the Comcast cable system serving Waynesburg and Franklin Township. Parade coverage began on Channel 14 on Dec. 23, and will repeat at the top of every hour until Saturday, Dec. 26.

The parade also can be viewed online at http://wctv.waynesburg.edu.

Click the “Playlists” tab and scroll to the bottom of the program listings. Click “Waynesburg Christmas Parades” and select the first parade listed.

Previous Waynesburg Christmas parades also are available online.

The parade coverage was produced by Waynesburg University’s department of communication. Department students and faculty worked on-camera and in behind-the-scenes crew positions.

“The production is our communication department’s Christmas gift to Greene County,” said Waynesburg University’s director of TV operations, Bill Molzon.

The Waynesburg Area Chamber of Commerce would also like to thank all those businesses and individuals who helped to make this year’s parade a success. A total of 91 units participated in the parade and officially welcomed Santa into the downtown to kick-off the holiday season in Waynesburg.
