Weaver’s triple-double sparks Pioneers to win

Craig Weaver rang up a triple-double with 19 points, 20 rebounds and 10 block shots as West Greene defeated host Hundred, W.Va., 61-47, in a non-section boys basketball game on Tuesday night.

The Pioneers (5-4) pulled away in the second period with a 19-11 edge to take a 31-22 halftime lead and stayed in control the rest of the way.

Zach McHenry tallied 14 points for West Greene. Nathan Brudnock and Isaac Rizor added 11 points apiece.

Hogan Moore led Hundred with 20 points.
