Virginia L. Gamble, 91, of Teagarden Homes, Clarksville, died Monday, February 2, 2015, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg.

She was born April 2, 1923, in Vesta Heights, Fredericktown, a daughter of the late William and Viola May Lawrence.

Mrs. Gamble was a homemaker. She lived most of her life in Clarksville.

On July 14, 1942, she married Raymond L. Gamble, who died March 29, 1998.

Mrs. Gamble was a longtime member of Clarksville Missionary Church and Clarksville Senior Citizens.

Surviving are two sons, Raymond L. Gamble Jr. and wife Kathy of Shreveport, Louisiana, and James E. Gamble of Midland, North Carolina; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are two brothers, James and Ralph, and a sister, Eva.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to noon, the time of service, Thursday, February 5, in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, with the Rev. Carl Leipold officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township.
