Anna Mae “Mia” Brnusak
Anna Mae “Mia” Brnusak, age 84 of Greensboro, died, Friday, February 13, 2015 in Point Manor, Point Marion.
She was born January 6, 1931 in Wyano, Fayette County, a daughter of the late John and Teresa (Mastihuba) Gansor.
Mrs. Brnusak was a graduate of Mapletown High School and resided in Greensboro most of her life. She worked as a secretary for Point Marion Ford dealership and later for the United States Postal Service at the Greensboro office.
Mrs. Brnusak was a member of the St. Ignatius of Antioch Roman Catholic Church in Bobtown, and the Rosary Altar Society at Holy Family Parish. She enjoyed playing bingo and traveling with her children and grandchildren.
On June 28, 1952, she married Stephen “Stits” Brnusak who died June 10, 2004.
Surviving is a son, Tony J. Brnusak and his wife, Sandra of Masontown; two daughters, Debbie A. Wilson and her husband, Dave of Greensboro and Stephanie A. Rice and her husband, George of Greensboro; seven grandchildren, Jason M. Wilson, Jennifer A. Blasko, Steven A. Brnusak and his wife, Tracy, Beth A. Plaski and her husband, Scott, Brianna M. Kolencik and her husband, Michael, Katie N. Brnusak and Kelly A. Gouzd and her husband, Zach; four great grandchildren, Aiden Blasko, Andrew Brnusak, Benjamin Brnusak and Brielle Plaski; two brothers, Carl Gansor of North Ridgeville, Ohio and Francis Gansor and his wife, Barbara of Bobtown and one sister Cecelia Jane Smith and her husband, Marshall of Winchester, Virginia. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are two brothers, John and Thomas Gansor.
Family and friends were welcomed from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home (724-966-5500), Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels, Pa. where a blessing service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2015 followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 2:00 p.m. in St. Ignatius of Antioch Roman Catholic Church in Bobtown with the Rev. Lawrence V. Holpp as celebrant. Interment will follow at Monongahela Hill Cemetery, Greensboro.
