Willis A. Wright, age 84, of Waynesburg, died Thursday, February 26, 2015 in Evergreen Assisted Living in Waynesburg following a lengthy illness.

He was born August 17, 1930 in Richhill Township, a son of the late Lon and Bernnie Harvey Wright.

He was a graduate of Richhill Township High School.

On March 15, 1952 he married JoAnn Smith Wright who survives.

Mr. Wright was employed by the A& P Store in Waynesburg for 23 years. He owned and operated Wright’s Antiques in Waynesburg for many years. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War, serving in Company B Engineering C Battalion. He was awarded the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Medal, the Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, and the Good Conduct Medal.

Mr. Wright was a member of the Bates Fork Baptist Church in Sycamore. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed hunting, shooting, and playing golf.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Sandra Jesso and husband Ron of Windermere, Florida; two grandsons, Jason Jesso and wife Molly of Mt. Lebanon; and Jerod Jesso and wife Claire of Windermere; six great-grandchildren, Nicholaus, Lukas, and Caroline Jesso all of Mt. Lebanon; and Dara, Tyson, and Emma Jesso all of Windermere and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a sister, Dorotha Bruno Weaver.

Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. , Sunday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc,., 182 West High St,. Waynesburg, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 2, 2015 with Pastor Cristy Wise officiating followed by interment in Greene Co. Memorial Park with military honors by American Legion Post 330 and the U. S. Army.
