Laura R. Miller, 80, of Sycamore, passed away peacefully at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in Carmichaels.

She was born Wednesday, October 3, 1934 in West Bethlehem Twp., Washington Co., a daughter of the late Issac J. McCullough and Marie Wise McCullough.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Lower Ten Mile Presbyterian Church in Amity. She was also a member of the Ladies of The Moose of Waynesburg. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and John Wayne films, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.

She was a homemaker.

Her husband, Wayne Miller, whom she married March 7, 1953, survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Beverly K. Snyder of Sycamore; one son, Douglas W. Miller of Northfield, Ohio; two granddaughters, Holly A. (Michael) King of Waynesburg and Brittani A. Miller of Jamesburg, New Jersey; one great-grandson, Wesley M. King; one sister, Katherine L. Mitchell of Waynesburg and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are one great-grandson, Shane King; one sister, Mary E. McCullough and one brother, William “Jack” McCullough.

Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2015 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner/Director, 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370, where services will be conducted on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dick Berardinelli officiating. Burial will be in Lower Ten Mile Presbyterian Cemetery, Amity, PA 15311.
