Winners announced for Doll Baby Pageant

Crucible Covermodel Madison Swartz

The 17th Crucible Volunteer Fire Dept. Doll Baby Pageant was held on Saturday, Oct. 17, in the fire department social hall, directed by Nikki Albert of Carmichaels.

The Crucible Supreme title was won by 23-month-old Rar’ity Silbaugh, daughter of Lufeshia and Robert Silbaugh of Grindstone. She had the highest combined beauty and photogenic scores. She was crowned by 2014 Crucible Supreme Breona Reda.

In the Tiny Miss age division (16-23 months old): Brynn Neely, 22-month-old daughter of Becky and Lance Neely of Carmichaels, won the Tiny Miss Crucible title; Bella White, 23-month-old daughter of Tia and Jason White of Brownsville, won the Tiny Miss Crucible Photogenic title and an honorable mention in beauty; Kalei’a Chun, 17-month-old daughter of Sherri and Fabian Chun, won First Alternate in beauty and Second Alternate in photogenic; and Madison Swartz, 18-month-old daughter of Sandy and Patrick Swartz of Carmichaels, won First Alternate in photogenic and Second Alternate in beauty.

In the Mister age division (18 months-6 years old): Kenley Eddy, 18-month-old son of Shayla and Hank Eddy of Carmichaels, won the Mister Crucible title and Second Alternate in photogenic; Arie Hartley, 5-year-old son of Alexislisa Redmond of Marianna, won the Mister Crucible Photogenic title and Second Alternate in beauty; and Payton Johnston, 4-year-old son of Jessica and John Johnston of Carmichaels, won First Alternate in beauty and photogenic.

In the Little Miss age division (3-4 years old): Charleigh Tedrow, 3-year-old daughter of Kelly and Scott Tedrow of Carmichaels, won the Little Miss Crucible title; Addison Litton, 4-year-old daughter of Tiffany Hathaway and Curtis Litton of Carmichaels, won the Little Miss Crucible Photogenic title and an honorable mention in beauty; Arabella Gulino, 4-year-old daughter of Cassandra and Edward Gulino Jr. of Masontown, won First Alternate in beauty and Second Alternate in photogenic; Bentley Collins, 3-year-old daughter of Breanna Collins of Nemacolin, won First Alternate in photogenic and an honorable mention in beauty; and Ra’yliea Silbaugh, 4-year-old daughter of Lufeshia and Robert Silbaugh of Grindstone, won Second Alternate in beauty.

In the Petite Miss age division (5-9 years old): Ellie Wise, nine-year-old daughter of Michelle and Michael Wise of Hundred, W.Va., won the Petite Miss Crucible title and Second Alternate in photogenic; Ke’Lani Chun, 5-year-old daughter of Sherri and Fabian Chun, won the Petite Miss Crucible Photogenic title and Second Alternate in beauty; Shyann Tennant, 5-year-old daughter of Carrie and Chris Tennant of Fairview, W.Va., won First Alternate in beauty and photogenic; Anastacialisa Hartley, 8-year-old daughter of Alexislisa Redmond, won an honorable mention in beauty; and Toshia Collins, 6-year-old daughter of Kathy and Bryan Collins of Adah, won an honorable mention in beauty.

In the Young Miss age division (10-14 years old): Katlynn Fisher, 14-year-old daughter of Amber Harbarger of Greensboro, won the Young Miss Crucible title and the Young Miss Crucible Photogenic title; Alexa Neely, 13-year-old daughter of Becky and Lance Neely of Carmichaels, won First Alternate in beauty and photogenic; Caitlynn Patterson, 10-year-old daughter of Ceressa and Daniel Patterson, won Second Alternate in beauty and photogenic; and Cheyenne Soto, 10-year-old daughter of Deidre and Jason Lingenfield of Dilliner, won an honorable mention in beauty.

Special Awards were also presented. The Crucible Covermodel title was won by Madison Swartz; the Crucible Princess titles were won by Shyann Tennant, Toshia Collins, Caitlynn Paterson and Alexa Neely; the Crucible Prince titles were won by Payton Johnston and Kenley Eddy; and the Crucible Sweetheart title was won by Alexa Neely.

Helpers for the pageant included: Sandy Bruce, Kayla Panepinto, Kloee Connelly, Charlotte Connelly, Kenna Hixenbaugh and Baylee Wydo. Winners from the 2014 pageant who were present included Ava Mattei, Ella Menear and Breona Reda.

The pageant coordinators thanked John Brodak of Brodak Shop n’ Save for sponsoring the pageant T-shirts and Loral Hathaway for taking photos of the event.
