Edward W. Walkos

Edward W. Walkos, 60, of Nemacolin, died at 9:44 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at his home.

He was born March 29, 1955 in Uniontown, a son of the late Edward Samuel and Evelyn Irma (Ogle) Walkos.

Mr. Walkos was a former member of the Nemacolin Volunteer Fire Company and its dive team. He served with the U. S. Marine Corps and enjoyed painting pictures, listening to the Beetles and shooting his pistol.

Surviving are two sons, Sam Walkos of East Ridge, Tennessee and John L. Walkos of Nemacolin; a daughter, Crystalann Pease and her husband, John, of Nemacolin; seven loving grandchildren; three brothers, John F. Fulmer and Timothy H. Walkos, both of Carmichaels and Rodney K. Walkos of Nemacolin; a sister, Laurie B. Mikalik and her husband, Alex, of Dilliner and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a daughter, Ashland N. Walkos; a brother, Mark L. Walkos and the mother of his children, Maryann Gianoncelli.

In addition he cherished his Chihuahua, Tiny, who he nicknamed, Bido.

There will be no public viewing and family and friends are welcome to visit the family from 2 to 4 p.m., the time of a memorial service on Monday, November 9, 2015 at Crosspoint Assembly of God, 550 W George St., Carmichaels. Pastor Joshua M Koss will officiate.
