Elden E. Blaker, age 86, of Dilliner passed peacefully into the hands of the Lord on Thursday November 12, 2015, surrounded by his loving family.

Elden was born July 3, 1929 in Davistown, the son of the late Charles and Lula Belle Blaker.

Mr. Blaker, is survived by his wife of 25 years, Beverly Patterson Blaker; three sons, Richard (Brenda), Bobby (Melissa), Elden (Lisa) Davis; seven grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a life-long friend, Reverend Richard Everly.

Mr. Blaker served his country in the U.S. Army in Japan during the Korean War. He was a successful businessman who operated Dual Refrigeration Co. in Pittsburgh.

He also pastored his own church, the Bible Fellowship Room near Carmichaels.

He liked to go fishing and do woodworking.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Blaker was preceded in death by his first wife, Josephine, after 29 years of marriage, and a son Alan.
