Lawrence graduates from Duquesne University School of Law
Katrina Sue Lawrence graduated from Duquesne University School of Law, with a concentration in energy and environmental law on June 7 in Pittsburgh.
Upon graduation Lawrence received several prestigious awards, including the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Graduate Award and the Susan H. Wilkie Award for Professional Responsibility and Ethics in the Practice of Law.
Katrina is the 2015 recipient of the Allegheny Country Bar Association’s Environment and Energy Law Section Scholarship. Lawrence also won two CALI Awards in Health Care Law and Professional Responsibility for obtaining the highest grade in each course.
Lawrence served as editor-in-chief of Joule: Duquesne’s Energy and Environmental Law Journal for a year.
Lawrence has had several internships. Most recently, she worked as a law clerk in the Solicitor’s Office of the United States Department of the Interior located in Pittsburgh.
Prior to that position, she worked for Everpower Wind Holdings, LLC, Lawrence D. Brudy and Associates, Inc., Attorneys at Law and Duquesne University as a legal researcher for Professor Schiavone.
Lawrence has a bachelor’s degree in wildlife and fisheries resources from West Virginia University.
She is the daughter of John and Susan Lawrence of Carmichaels.
