Kimberly Kron
Kimberly Kron, age 52, of Carmichaels, formerly of Nemacolin, died Monday April 18, 2016 in UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Kron was born April 4, 1964 in Waynesburg, the daughter of the late Thomas and Ellen M. Pratt Walters.
On July 20, 2000, Kimberly married Paul J. Kron who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Thomas J. Walters (Keri L.) of Carmichaels and Michelle L. Wise (Michael T.) of Hundred, West Virginia; three grandchildren, Landen T. and Kolten J. Walters and Ellie A. Wise; a brother, Jerry Walters (Martha) of Carmichaels and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, a brother, Greg Walters is deceased.
Kim was a member of the Greene Valley Presbyterian Church, Carmichaels.
She worked at the former Fenner Dunlop Plant in Allison, as an Administrative Assistant.
She was active in the Boy Scouts of America Post 1262 for many years, and was a member of the American Legion Post 400 Women’s Auxiliary.
Friends will be received in the Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Paul M. Lesako, Funeral Director/Supervisor, on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12 to 1 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Keith P. Larson, officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.
